iZen wins research award from ONR (Office of the Naval Research)

iZen has been honored with a prestigious research award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR) for a groundbreaking solution, called SecureHigh, which aims to develop an experiential learning program in cybersecurity, cultivating agile workforces to counter emerging threats, including AI-enhanced attacks. The SecureHigh program offers hands-on cyber exercises, scenario-based games, and collaborative learning to promote active engagement.

Key objectives of SecureHigh include encouraging cybersecurity as a profession and attracting students at the high school or beginner level. Leveraging iZen’s existing learning platform, the program ensures seamless eLearning delivery, with or without Internet/computers/infrastructure power. Added with accessible content, this will reach learners who are missing such opportunities, thereby promoting DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) by offering opportunities to individuals from diverse backgrounds and locations, aiming to create a more diverse cybersecurity workforce

SecureHigh’s impact extends beyond the Navy and DoD components, benefiting military-connected students, veterans, under-served communities, women, and minorities, creating career-building opportunities in cybersecurity.
